REBAP MRCI 3RD FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY

It was an early evening full of joy last April 23, 2010 5pm at Bakahan Manukan Barrio Fiesta at #1 Restaurant Ave. Marcos Highway De la Paz, Pasig City.
In attendance were 22 regular and 9 associate members and 11 guests headed by the REBAP National President Evelyn Duterte and her husband past Pres Rodrigo Duterte and past Pres. Jess Berosel, Kathleen Ong the National Secretary Gen. Roselyn Cortez, President Rizal chapter and Cholita Ortega President Rebap Manila.
The activity started with Project presentations of the following developer sponsors: Ledesco Development Corp. represented by R.J. Ledesma, Bank of Phil Islands and Landworks Asia while Phil National Bank and Federal Land Inc. distributed brochures and marketing materials to all the attendees.
Program proper started at 6:30pm with CRB Purita Salamat leading the Pambansang Awit, CRB Sylvia Opinion with Pambungad na panalangin, REBAP Credo by CRB Corazon Uy, Bating Pagtanggap by CRB Malu Llado, Pres REBAP MRCI.Dinner followed with CRB Joseph del Castillo rendering mga piling awitin for entertainment. Then CRB Malou Llado introduced the Guest of Honor, CRB Emily Duterte REBAP National President who gave a very inspiring address mentioning among other things the unity and cooperation of all members of the organization making every activity always a success.
Very successful indeed because of the games, pabitin and hatawan ng palayok which yielded cash for the participants. Guests were also entertained by the folkdances of the senior citizen members who tried to remember how to execute dance steps they executed 40 to 50 yrs ago. Carinosa by Miles Barrameda and partner, the Itik Itik by Jing, Leila, Leo and Joe, the Muslim dance by Lyngie, Jhen, Ely and Thess, the modern dance by Leo and Joe. Tinikling by CRB Purita and bamboo ladies Leila and Jing.
There were also winners of the palabunutan which made the occassion a very happy and colorful one with the participants in Barong Pilipino the set complete with Bahay Kubo and baloons and chosen Star of the night CRB Lyngie and escort CRB Jay.
The panalanging pagtatapos led by CRB Luna Gallaza was exactly 10pm. The Masters of Ceremonnies were CRB Gerry and CRB Celia.
